How It Works

Simple process.
Remarkable results.

01
Free Site Assessment
We visit your site, evaluate acreage, vegetation density, and terrain. We provide a written scope and quote — suitable for grant applications — at no charge.
02
We Deploy
We arrive Sunday with 15–25 goats, install portable Premier electric mesh fencing around the target area, and leave the herd to work. Your team's only task is a daily water check.
03
Weekly Rotation
Each Sunday we rotate the herd to the next section — adjacent or nearby — until the full area is cleared. Most 3-acre sites take 3–4 weeks.
04
Completion & Reporting
We collect the herd, remove all fencing, and provide a post-service land summary — noting species cleared, coverage, and observations. Suitable for board reports and grant documentation.

Season runs mid-May through mid-October. Dates are confirmed at contract signing. Multi-year service agreements available for priority scheduling and preferred terms.

Goats clearing vegetation
What We Clear

Targeted.
Selective.
Effective.

Goats are natural browsers — they preferentially target invasive and nuisance species, leaving desirable plants largely intact. They access terrain that machines and human crews can't safely reach.

Common target species
Multiflora Rose Japanese Knotweed Phragmites Autumn Olive Bush Honeysuckle Garlic Mustard Barberry Mugwort Thistle Poison Ivy Privet Oriental Bittersweet Ailanthus Dense Overgrowth
🚫
No Chemicals
Zero herbicides or pesticides. Safe near waterways, wetlands, schools, and parks.
🌱
Soil Restoration
Natural manure returns nutrients to the soil and supports native plant recovery.
⛰️
Any Terrain
Steep slopes, riparian edges, and dense thickets — goats go where machines can't.
🔄
Seasonal Returns
Annual repeat service progressively weakens invasives and supports long-term ecological recovery.

These guys are literally G.O.A.T.! The team are passionate and caring shepherds but also serious about the business of goats. They brought 20 goats to our farm to help control the invasive and noxious undergrowth and in several weeks the results were amazing. Love these guys, and love their goats!
